Sri Lankan military has launched ferocious attack on the safe zone; Thousands will die if no action is taken NOW.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is an urgent message to inform you that we have received information from the safe zone in Northern Sri Lanka that Sri Lankan forces have started a ferocious land, air and sea offensive into safe zone last night. Hundreds of civilians have been killed and we fear thousands will perish soon.
It is criminal not to act when thousand of innocent lives are going to be lost and early warnings and pleas have been sent out. The traumatised Vanni Tamil people have been on the run for the last 3 months and finally being cornered and slaughtered.
This is the final appeal to the international community to stop the slaughter of Tamil civilians in the "safe zone".
1.Sri Lanka must immediately allow UN monitors into the safe zone.
2.Sri Lanka must immediately stop shelling, use of cluster bombs, white phosphorous, chemical bombs inside the safe zone. Using heavy weapons and shelling the people to kill and forcing them out is NOT "liberating" people.
3.Sri Lanka must account for all people who it claims to have "liberated". Out of the 75,000 -125,000 people, only 5400 people have been sent to IDP centres. The rest are in "out of bounds" Military zone where "screening" and "interrogations" are taking place. Sri Lanka must reveal the locations of secret concentrations camps. Thousands of men and boys have disappeared and feared killed by Sri Lankan forces.
4.Sri Lanka must immediately let food items and medical items into the conflict zone (safe zone as well as the military zone) and immediately allow INGOs in. Denying medical help and forced starvation are acts of Genocide. Sri Lanka and officials who fail to act are accountable for the Genocide.
Please act decisively. Please immediately send UN monitors, INGOs to Northern Sri Lanka
